About Us
Carmah Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer cat rescue organization focused on the needs of cats in Marlborough, Hudson, and surrounding towns in Massachusetts. Our cats are available for adoption at the Hudson MA Petsmart or from a network of nearby foster homes.
In 2022 we moved our intake center into a newly renovated and expanded space so that we can help even more cats. The center is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture and includes a quarantine area. This space allows us to provide a healthy, structured, environment for our cats from the time they arrive at our rescue until we determine the next best step for each animal.
Mission: Our mission is to reduce the suffering of homeless cats, with a focus on cats in Central Massachusetts. Our programs include trap-neuter-release, placement of working cats, and adoptions of pet cats. We rely heavily on community involvement -- through volunteerism, fostering, and community awareness. |
Our major programs:
In the last ten years we have placed over 3500 cats and kittens into homes. We have spayed or neutered over 500 feral cats. |
