I'm Maya, a gorgeous grey girl.
I am gentle and loving.
I enjoy being petted and sitting on laps. And I have a great purr. Someone said that I'm the kind of kitty who can make anyone smile, no matter how tough their day has been. Oh, and I get along fine with other cats.
In Maori, my name means "courage," and I've recently needed to have a lot of that!
You may have read about me - just as I was settling into life at Carmah, I got very sick and needed emergency surgery. I came out of it just fine! I've just been to the vet for a followup and I am now perfectly healthy and ready to go on to my new home.
I am 3 years old and - hooray - healthy! Looking for a loving girl, full of life, who's ready to make biscuits for you?

Carmah is an all volunteer, no-kill cat rescue group serving the Marlborough/Hudson MA area and beyond.
Adoption fees are $325 for kittens under a year, $600 per pair
$250 for cats 1-11 years, $175 for cats 12+ years
